  • Game data: match results, scores, Elo ratings, and game history.
  • Venue data: home venue association and check-in/check-out timestamps.
  • Profile data: avatar image and display preferences.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Operate and maintain your account.
  • Track game results and calculate Elo ratings.
  • Display leaderboards and player statistics.
  • Send account-related emails (password resets, email confirmation).
  • Enable venue features such as check-ins and King of the Table events.

3. Information Sharing

  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
  • Your display name, avatar, game stats, and Elo rating are visible to other users on leaderboards and player profiles.
  • Venue operators can see leaderboard data and check-in status for players associated with their venue.
  • Your email address is never displayed publicly.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to have your account deleted, contact us at admin@rackup.ca.

5. Data Security

We protect your data using industry-standard security measures including encrypted passwords (bcrypt), CSRF protection, rate limiting, and secure HTTPS connections. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100{}ecure.

6. Cookies and Local Storage

Rack Up uses session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Session cookies are essential for the Service to function and are deleted when you log out.

7. Your Rights

In accordance with Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.

Rack Up is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
